Born in Athens, Greece.

At a very early age he studied the piano at the National Music School (Ethnikon Odeion) with Thalia Bacha and continued at the Apollonion Music School in the class of Lazaros Archontides. Studied Advanced Theory, Harmony and Fugue (free style) with composer Christos Lambrianides. After finishing High School, he studied Arrangement and Orchestration in Paris (France), at the Centre d'Informations Musicales, under the direction of Ivan Jullien and the honorary supervision of Henri Dutilleux and Quincy Jones.

While being in France, has studied the clarinet at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, in the class of Jean-Louis Sajot, Principal Clarinet at the Orchestre National de France. He is also a self-taught saxophone player.

He has participated as a saxophone player in many recording sessions for major greek artists and as sideman in various jazz, fusion, funk and blues ensembles, in France, Greece and Japan.

He has re-arranged and performed a collection of well known french songs in Patrick Nugier's CD "Tandem vol.1", a french singer and multi-instrumentalist who lives and performs in Tokyo, Japan. Has also orchestrated (symphonic orchestra adaptation) for several very famous greek songwriters.

Since 1993 he has composed and performed music extensively for several TV series, hundrends of commercials and collaborated with production companies such as KINO, STEFI, ORASIS, STARS, LE SPOT, MOVIELAB, CINEGRAM and many others. Among his clients are Panafon (Vodafone), Telestet (Wind), Cosmote, Otenet, Olympic Airways, Ford, Pepsi-Cola, Toyota, Erickson, Disney and many others. He has collaborated with Producers and Directors from the USA, France, Italy, Lebanon, UAE and Japan.

He has contributed music and sound design for several high-profile multimedia installations, such as the Greek Kiosk at the Expo2000 (Hannover, Germany), a KINO production; the "Spinning Earth" at the Goulandris Museum of Natural History. And various other projects.
Has written the music, done the sound design and mixed the 24min film "the Fridge", directed by George Siougas. Awarded in Drama Film Festival; nominated at the Hollywood Film Festival, Tribecca Film Festival and other US festivals.

Since 2003 he is the composer-in-residence at the Eugenides New Digital Planetarium and apart from writing the music for at least a 40' show per year, does also the sound design and mix of almost every digital show and supervises the adaptation and mix of the large screen movies (IMAX) presented there. He has composed and sound designed the very first digital show of the Planetarium, titled "Cosmic Odyssey" which has been a great success among the Athenian public. He continued with "New Horizons - Planets and Satellites", "From Genesis to Cataclysm", "Black Holes" and "From Earth to the Moon", as a composer, sound designer and mix engineer.

By September 2007 he composes, performs and does also the sound design for the romantic comedy TV series "Big Bang", directed by George Siougas, produced by Anosi S.A. and broadcasted by MEGA Channel.

The last couple of years he produces and engineers the vast majority of the projects he is involved to in his own private studio, built around a Digidesign ProTools Accel2 system (Macintosh platform) and JBL 6.1 monitoring. He also arranges and engineers for external clients in all styles except greek popular music.

He speaks english, french (fluent), greek (native) and some japanese.
